Gooey Cayenne Chocolate Truffles

We all need a little treat from time to time! That's why these delicious chocolate truffles with a kick are perfect for after dinner or sharing with friends!

Here's what you need!

- 9 oz Chocolate
- 4 Tsp Cayenne Pepper
- 2 Tsp Ginger
- 1 Tsp Cinnamon
- 1 1/2 Cups Icing Sugar
- 3/4 Cup Butter
- 6 Tbsp Cream

Time to get your hands messy!

Step 1

Gently melt the chocolate, butter & cayenne pepper in a bowl over a pan of boiling water on the hob.

Step 2

Remove from heat. Add cream and around 1 cup of the icing sugar, making sure to stir well!
Cover and chill overnight.

Step 3

To make the powdered coating for the truffles, mix together remaining icing sugar, cocoa powder, ginger and cinnamon together in a bowl.

Step 4

Now time for the fun bit!
Scoop out 1 tablespoon of truffle mixture at a time and use your hands to mould into a ball. Roll the truffle balls into the powdered coating making sure the whole ball is covered.

Keep in the fridge until ready to serve! And remember to share.....;)
