Mexican Style Fajitas
Serves 4
 
Vegetable-Chicken-Beef
(Add which ever you like best!!)
 
Create your own delicious Mexican fajitas! Packed full of tasty Herbs & Spices they are guaranteed to get your taste buds tingling!
 


Ingredients:
  • 2 Tsp Ground chilli
  • 1 Tsp Paprika
  • 1/4 Tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/2 Tsp Cayenne pepper
  • 1/4 Tsp Cumin
  • 1 Tbs Cornstarch
  • 1 Tbs Sugar
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 Onion, thinly sliced
  • Peppers, thinly sliced
  • Your choice of chicken, beef or extra vegetables; peppers, mushrooms and courgette wedges are our favourites!

For Serving:

  • 8 Tortillas
  • Salsa
  • Guacamole
  • Sour Cream

 

Step 1
 
Add all spices, cornstarch, salt and sugar to a bowl, mix well.

Step 2
 
Lightly rub your chicken/beef/vegetables with olive oil and then coat well with the dry mix in preparation for cooking.

Step 3
 
Add a little olive oil to pan and cook on a medium heat for around 10 minutes, or until the veg are tender and the meat is cooked through.

 
Step 4
 
Serve up! Add to warmed tortillas with lashings of salsa, guacamole and sour cream!
