Get Creative With Cloves!

Why not create a sweet smelling pomander for your room or wardrobe?
A pomander is a delicious smelling 100% natural air freshener that is easy to make and smells completely delicious!

Pomanders have actually been used since medieval times to mask odours and were even believed to keep sickness at bay!

All you need:

- A Fresh Orange
- Whole Cloves
- Cinnamon (Optional)

So here's what to do:

- Take your orange and begin inserting the cloves around 1/4 inch apart. You can either cover the whole orange or create a fancy pattern! The cloves help to preserve the orange so the more you use the better! If you want to attach a ribbon its best to leave a gap in the cloves for the ribbon to sit in!

- If you want your Pomander to smell extra delicious, coat the cloves in cinnamon before inserting (the easiest way to do this is by putting the cinnamon and cloves in a bag and giving it a good shake!)

- Now put in a cool dry place for 2-3 weeks to give your orange chance to dry out.

- Attach your ribbon and hang in a wardrobe, on a door handle, or in any room of your choice. Enjoy the deliciously fresh summer scent the Pomander gives to your home!
